Shreya writes: ”I am using your [Deep Trance Now] recordings for growing taller now and I fall asleep when I listen to them. Does the subconscious mind still listen to them while I am sleeping? Is it OK to listen to them like that? I can’t stay awake or concentrate on them that well because I start thinking about other things.”
A part of your mind is always attending to everything that is happening inside of your body and in your environment. In hypnosis that part of your mind is something called “silent observer”, so to answer your question “yes, your subconscious is listening to recordings even while you’re sleeping”. And sometimes this way of working with suggestions and recordings may be sufficient.
However, you may get faster results if you also work with recordings while you are in a relaxed, but alert state of mind. Subconscious mind is a realm of emotions, and if you subjectively experience the reality of your desired outcome, if you subjectively experience the reality of your taller body, while working with hypnosis recordings, you will program your subconscious mind more effectively.
If you listen to hypnosis recordings in a position in which you have trained yourself to fall asleep, it is natural that you will tend to drift to sleep. If you are used to fall asleep when you reach deeper levels of the mind, it is natural that you will tend to drift to sleep, as you are becoming more relaxed and as you are entering deeper levels of the mind. If you have never trained your mind to focus on one idea, it is natural that your mind will be thinking of many other things. That doesn’t mean that you do not have the ability to practice self-hypnosis – it only means that you may need to train your mind. And the more you practice the more easily will you remain focused on your goal while working with hypnosis recordings.
If you listen to grow taller hypnosis recordings when you are more awake, you’ll less likely fall asleep. If you listen to grow taller hypnosis recordings in a sitting or somewhat reclining position, you’ll be less likely to drift to sleep than if you are laying down. And if you search your mind, you may discover that when you are greatly interesting in something, your mind is naturally focused on the object of your interest.
For example, if you are feeling very hungry, your mind may naturally be contemplating food and it will take no special effort for your mind to remain focused on food. You may be thinking of different kinds of food, but all those thoughts will likely revolve around satiating your stomach in some way.
It works the same way with height increase. Your desire for a taller body may naturally bring your thoughts over and over again to the idea of that taller body, naturally and effortlessly.
